PHASE 2:DEFINE
In this project, I helped design an improved dining experience for GVSU students and staff. I contributed to user research, created journey maps and wireframes, and helped define the visual style. Our final prototype combined physical and digital elements to make campus dining more convenient and engaging. My team and I followed a four-phase design process. Discover, Define, Refine, and Build, using collaborative research and iterative design to guide our outcome.
PHASE 1: DISCOVERY
Conducted user and business research through surveys, interviews, and on-site observations to understand the needs, behaviors, and frustrations of the GVSU community.
Synthesized research findings into user journey maps and identified key moments of opportunity. We developed How Might We questions to drive ideation.
PHASE 3:REFINE
Explored visual and interaction directions through moodboards, style guides, and wireframes, ensuring that our design choices aligned with user insights.
PHASE 4:BUILD
Created a functional prototype that visualized how our solution would perform in real-world scenarios, complete with consistent visual language and user interface design.
